JENNI KUSTANOVICH
While our bodies are constantly talking to us, we might not always be listening. And so, with every move, Jenni facilitates embodied practices that play with the intertwining actions of structure and freedom. Together, through the physical manifestation of purpose (our movements), we curiously uncover the layers of our being and connect with our deep exploratative and energetic breaths to radically accept that we are more than the external being that holds our soul.
A dancer since childhood, Jenni has been practicing and studying Yogic philosophy since she was 12, and guiding mindful movement, including dance fitness, Yoga, barre, and Pilates, since she was 15. She received her 200-hour registered Yoga instructor certification from Siddhi Yoga, a school located in Rishikesh, India – a city renowned as a center for the study of Yoga and meditation — all influenced by Kundalini Tantric yoga with a focus on the meridian lines and nadis. Since then, Jenni is additionally trained in a variety of Yogic schools, including Ayurveda, restorative Yoga, and sound healing. Currently she is in the process of her 300-hour Yoga teacher training.
Jenni has recently graduated from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, studying health administration and public health – with a specialization in body image and eating disorders — and is currently a social work student studying psychotherapy.
